Many have asked me why I chose the name "The Blooming Opal". Here is my response:

A favorite saying from my past is “Bloom where you are planted”. My birthstone is the opal.

When I see cluttered space or disorganization, I see it blooming into something magnificent. 

That is how I came up with the name for my professional organization business.

I provide organizing, coaching and deep cleaning services to individuals and businesses.  

 

Have you ever thought “there has to be a better way of doing ________”?

You probably have tried many times to tackle ________ but only to find you are repeating the same methods over and over and becoming frustrated that you have not accomplished the goal.

If that resonates within you, then that is when you need a professional organizer.

 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Spring of 2020, my previous employer permanently shut down many medical practices across the country, including the office I was the practice administrator of and I found myself in a unique situation.

After 32+ years of restaurant and medical practice management experience, I wanted to use my skills, talents and hard-working ethic for myself. 

​

Before officially launching my business on October 1, 2020; I began taking classes to become a certified organizer through NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals) as well as became a member of NAPO. I also found a perfect candidate for putting my skills to work prior to my launch date. I spent over 100 hours pro bono to help someone in need of my organizing services.

 

Having the natural skills and ones I learned over the years from former careers and education, I knew that I needed to find something that matched another favorite saying “when work, commitment and pleasure all become one, you reach that deep place where passion lives and nothing is impossible”.

I am wholeheartedly passionate about organizing anything and everything. Personally, nothing is better than having processes in place to make life simpler at home and at work.

​

Some people cringe at the thought of clearing out the clutter. I get excited about what lies beyond it. I see potential, hope, joy, peace and restored LIFE!  I knew that I wanted to help others turn their chaos into order. Whether that chaos stems from life events like the birth of a child, an illness, injury or the natural aging process, or a career that leaves little time for much else. Chaos happens!

What I enjoy even more than clutter is helping others achieve their goals within their homes or businesses.  When I meet with a client and get to know them and their needs, my soul is set on fire with excitement seeing the potential just waiting to bloom. Providing help and hope that their lives will get better with a little hard work and coaching is what I love to do.

 

You probably associate disorganization and clutter with the term, “hoarder”. 

That is an extreme situation category of which many people do not fall into.

Residential and business organization is so much more than that.
